The interregional database of R&D allows you to:
- Obtain detailed information about the structure of the research infrastructure in the Corinna partner regions. Included are scientific institutions as well as companies that perform R&D.
- Select standardized scientific areas to research nearly all the institutions that engage in research in this field in a specific region.
- Identify potential scientific cooperation partners.

The data of research organizations and groups for Slovenia
Data from Slovenia are an exception. The data come originate from the SICRIS - Slovenian Current Research Information System – database, that breaks up university-based and non-university institutions as well as companies into organizations and groups.
Organizations
The ORGANIZATIONS' database contains information on all research organizations or companies carrying out research projects partly financed by the respective Ministry responsible for science from 1995 onwards. Currently almost 700 organisations - university research institutions, non-university research organizations or companies - are included in the database.
Groups
The GROUPS' database contains basic information on all research groups inside research organisations or companies carrying out projects partly financed by the Slovenian Research Agency from 1998 onwards. A research group consists only of researchers and professional or technical associates.
How to use
1. You can browse in the database by choosing one region/country.
2. Choose the research area of the classification system of science of the OECD on a 1-digit-level or for a more detailed search the 2-digit-level (so called disciplines of sciences e.g. 1 natural sciences, 11 Mathematics and Computer Sciences).
In addition to that you have to choose the research organizations: universities, non-university research or companies and click the particular button. If you want to get data of all this fields, it is possible to select all of them. Slovenia is an exception regarding to the classification of providers of R&D services (Contents).
3. The result is a list of institutions, that operate in the scientific fields selected in the previous step.
4. Click on one of the institutions to obtain a complete data set.
